Dar Nazem
Dar Nazem is the Chief Operating Officer of GTS Securities where his primary responsibilities include handling the day-to-day activities across trading, operations, treasury, risk, marketing, and firm-wide surveillance reviews. Dar is also responsible for GTS’s senior counter-party relationships across Exchanges and Brokers focusing on strategic business development initiatives.
Prior to GTS, Dar served as the Chief Operating Officer of qSpark Capital Management. Mr. Nazem has also held senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse Group AG, Citadel, UBS AG and Goldman Sachs. Throughout his career, Dar has focused on quantitative trading, market microstructure, technology, talent acquisition and daily operations. Additionally, Dar has played active roles in numerous strategic FinTech investments, serving as an active board member supporting each organizations expansion.
Mr. Nazem received a Bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and lives with his wife and two daughters in Westport, CT.
